Can the tag be removed?

The tag can only be removed if the cooler can be opened. The best way to prevent this is to make sure the cooler lid is locked when not in use.

 

How do I track the cooler once its stolen?

You can use your Find My app to see the location of the cooler as long as an iphone user is in the vicinity of the tag.
